Connie is from Tampa, Florida. She received a Bachelor of Science in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Florida State University (Go Seminoles!). She is currently pursuing her Master’s in Communication Sciences and Disorders at the University of Florida. Connie has a keen interest in dysphagia and working within the acute care setting.
She feels very fortunate to have an opportunity to gain experience and expand her knowledge working under Dr. Plowman in the ARC lab! When Connie isn’t studying you can find her exploring the outdoors or going for a run. She also loves being an aunt and visiting her family on the weekends.
